Crab Catching!!!

Sorry its been soooo long since I updated - I am addicted to Facebook - so putting all my pics etc on there.

Our exciting news is that we are going to be Grandparents!!!!!!!! Woooo how scary is that!!!!!
Jenna is expecting a baby on 28th December - Her and Paul are very excited! So I am now addicted to looking a baby catalogues, discussing names etc! A Christmas Baby - how lovely!
I have decided I will be called Glammy and Steve can be Grumpy!!! lol.

We have been away every weekend at the boat - just love going to Wales. We have had some lovely weekends. Recently we have been to Pilots Cove on Anglesey and stayed over on anchor - then to Liverpool for a few days - great times! As you can see from the photo Steve and Glynn were very proud of the crab they caught - they went out armed with a bbq tong and an oar and caught this huge one! We did eat it but cant say I was keen - after boiling it alive and then dismembering it - it just didnt taste the same!

It was lovely to catch up with my cousins at the "williams" reunion in Wales - Very surreal to know that you are related to sooooo many people all in one room!

hello again

Sorry I am really bad a updating this blog!!! And in the winter just dont seem to take any photos.

Steve was 50 in January and I arranged a surprise party for him in Wales - I really thought he had sussed it out - but it was a real shock when he walked in and our family and friends were all there. So he is officially my "Old Man" now.

We still go off the Wales each week despite the cold weather - though we havent been out to sea for a long time. The boat comes out of the water next week for a "bottom" clean and service then we are ready for the season. Our first planned trip is around Angelsey over Easter.

I am sat here waiting of the fitter to arrive with our new carpets - Apparently he left the yard at 10am to travel the 2 miles to our house and its now 1230!!!!!! Must have gone via Blackpool!

Now the kids have left home we have reclaimed the upstairs of the house which used to be their room - so we now have a nice guest room with en suite !

Jenna has a new job in a lovely Elderley Care home in Bramhall and is enjoying it - she has booked to go to Salou for a holiday in May with Daniel - and to catch up with her friends out there.

Daniel is working for Steve at the garage and seems to be learning lots of new skills - he has got is own car again and is doing work on it - including some very loud stereo equipment!!!! He still comes home most weekday nights for his tea. He has been with his girlfriends Jess for 6 months now and seems settled.

Nothing much else to report - I love seeing everyone else blogs they are soooo much more interesting than mine!!!

Christmas comes to Conwy! Hope you all had a lovely christmas and are ready for the next round of parties for New Year - 2008 - doesnt seem 2 minutes since the millenium!

Really sorry not been blogging! - On facebook now so tend to put photos etc on their - its good because you can chat - especially with the time difference to Oz etc.

Anyway we are all fine - just munched and lovely chinese washed down with a bottle of red!
Well it is Christmas!

Kids are fine - coming tomo for dinner - Daniel is cooking for us. He is still seeing Jess and working at the garage. Jenna is waiting for reference etc ot start her new job in a care home in Bramhall.

Mum and Dad are having a great time in the sun in Sydney. Miss them lots - its not the same without them. But these pensioners get about and have fun! I am sure they are enjoying themselves. It will be Sabina's first christmas - bless - time goes so quickly - I was wondering whether to put out a glass of sherry and a mince pie for Father Christmas tonight!

I bought Daniel some thermal overalls for working in - as you can see they will keep him nice and warm!

We are very lucky cos Steve's mum and Dad have given us their leather corner suite so we have been decorating. The wallpaper has taken a bit of getting used to!

Ordered the curtains today so should be finished soon!
