BOATING BLUES

We have had a wonderful week off on the boat - lots of parties and drinking!
We sailed to Liverpool on Bank holiday monday - which was fabulous - but unfortunately the boat broke!!!! One engine started to vibrate widely and had to be switched off - at this point we were at the entrance to the mersey and had only an hour to make it to Brunswick dock for the last lock in! Bit worrying stuck in the Mersey with all the big shipping! But we made it and had a fab time. So we limped back to conwy at 6 knots which took us eight hours! Yacht speed!
The boat was lifted out of the water yesterday and its not good news - the engine has to come out and we may be grounded for sometime - wooo - not happy! But at least we can still go down and stay on her and bum a lift on someone elses boat for a trip out!!

Sorry Cant download any pics - computer wont find my iphone!!!! will try and sort it out.

Spring is in the air!!!

Time really does just fly! We are already in May only 7 weeks to the longest day!!!

Little Isi Tinkerbelle is four months old now and weighs in at one stone! She is adorable - and soooo good always smiling and sleeps 12 hours every night! She has just started to try some solids - bit of rusk etc and loves it but its a very messy affair! I have her on a Monday and I have a lovely time pushing her in the pram and blowing raspberries - which is her favourite thing.

Jenna and I are at Slimming World and trying to keep our weight loss in line with Tinks weight gain ! We are doing Aquarobics and walking. Its so hard to lose weight!!! But hopefully we will both reach our stone off next week.

We have spent a lovely weekend in Cardiff with friends - lovely vibrant city - nice marinas and bars and restaurants (very Hard to lose weight with all that temptation). Stayed at the Hilton which was very nice with a swimming pool and jacuzzi etc.

We are at Joseph christening this coming weekend - Steve is godfather - so it will be a nice family get together.

Steve is getting on with renovating the barge - even ordered Rose and Jim dolls!!!!!! Not ready to launch yet but the floor has gone in !!!

We have had some brilliant sailing weekends - the sea was so calm. Wish it was always like that!

Had our first bbq on the beach at Moelfre in Anglesey.

Oh back in the water!

Jennavee has been out of the water for a month for its annual bottom clean.

(this blog site keeps crashing in the middle of uploading pictures)

Anyway we had our first sail of the year -just to puffin island to test the engines etc - everything seems good - was fabulous to sail with blues skies and snow on snowdonia mountains - fabulous.

Of course no post up be complete without an Isabelle picture !!!

She now weigh 10.8 lbs the little whale. And despite having
her first injections yesterday she slept from 8pm til 8am.
Wow if all babies were like her - I would have one myself!!!!

Isabelle

My gorgegous girl now weighs 9lb 1oz what a little whale!!!! and she has cut her first tooth at only five weeks. She is still as chilled out as ever -
just sleeps and feeds - but now has a little playtime.

We had a lovely weekend at conwy - much alcohol was consumed - went for a lovely meal using the vouchers Susan gave me for my birthday. Boat comes out of the water next week for about a month - got to have some work done and its bottom cleaned. We are have new electric toilets fitted - woooo very excited. Our new car is due to arrive today so will be taking it out for a spin later - merc 350 ML in sexy black! Poor Susan had a little bump in her car this morning - but thankfully she is OK.

Not got too much planned - Steve brother is 40 next week so having a family get together which will be lovely.

Just looking forward to a nice relaxing summer - pottering about around the coast and may be on the barge if it gets finished - at least I wont have to worry about sea states on the canal!!!

Lots of Love Kate x x x x

Isi Tiggy Boo

So cute!!!! Bouncy Bouncy! I had Isabelle all afternoon yesterday - we had a lovely time and lots of cuddles. She is doing really well and is a very chilled out babe!
I have had a really awful cold again so hadn't seen her for a few days.
Everyone else is fine. Had a really good time in the Mulberry, Conwy on Saturday - thought the alcohol might kill the cold germs - well at least it anaesthetised them!!!! Not been out on the boat since last August - so we need to have a sail out soon - hopefully we will had a wonderful warm summer. If not we will be playing on the barge! Thats a project Steve is undertaking and boy is it a project - the survey has been done on the hull to say its watertight - now its just and empty shell covered in grey primer paint!!! May be a while before we become Rosie and Jim!!!
Daniel is coming round later not seen him for a few weeks - he is of course my big Baby! Bless.
Catch you all again soon Kate x x x
