Jo and Bella

My sister Jo has been over from Austrailia with her hubby George and little girl Bella - she is now 7 months pregnant with baby McIvor No 2 and has a lovely round bump which seems to grow by the day!

They are off back to Oz on Sunday - have a good flight home, will miss you lots!

Jenna now working at the Golden Donaire Hotel in La Pineda, Salou - got a nice three bed
apartment and sharing with two other girls. All seems to be going well for her.

The Garden Project is nearing completion and looks fab - just waiting for the finishing touches then will put some more photos on the blog - Thank goodness the mud has all gone now - just want the sun to shime now then we can sit out in it!

Fun in Salou

Glad to report Jenna having a fabulous time in Salou. Still on the training part - been to the theme park, off roading in jeeps and swimming in this lovely lake.
She seems to be really enjoying it.
As lots of my family know- its really hard saying bye when people go abroad - I have spent months worrying - now she is there and enjoying it I can relax.
She will be assigned to a hotel on Thursday and then proper work will start - but as a kids rep she doesnt have to do the late nights etc.
I am sure she will have a brilliant time.

Progress!

Well there is some progress - Steve has worked really hard !

The neighbours at the back complained about the bonfire so environmental health were called

and Steve got an ASBO!!! Well actually it was a abatement order ! Some people have nothing better to do with their time!

Anyway he has started to do the deck area now and the two patio's are just about complete!

2 tons of gravel and slate are being delivered tomorrow - he reckons that will be 180 bucket loads to carry round to the back! His arms will be six inches longer by the time he has finished!
Fortunately the lady next door has gone into a nursing home so we have been carrying everything through her garden instead of through the house!

Just wish the rain would stop so he can get on with it now ready for the bbq season.

Jenna's Big Adventure

Jenna has just completed her training to be a Thomson's Kidzone Rep - she had a fabulous time - loved all the singing and dancing and sticking and gluing - dont know who will have more fun her or the kids!!!

She is off to Salou in Spain on the 25th April for six months.

Will miss her lots - but its nice and close for visits.

Good Luck Jen - Love you x x x x

Great weekend

Our weekend started well - we went over to Alison and Chris's in Tarporley for a meal - she is a fabulous cook and we had a wonderful night - Thanks Al and Chris x

Saturday the weather loomed grey and rainy - but we decided to head down to Conwy -
So glad we did - we set sail for Carnearfon - four boats - had a great time - went into the Royal Welsh Yacht club with a curry take out - not many places that you could do that - the drinks are very reasonable and they let us use their kitchen and crockery. We played a quiz game -and John proved himself to be very knowledgeable!!!

Cruising in convoy through the Meani straits.

Hefin and Lisa's boat - Miss Miami

This cottage is in the middle of the straits and can only be accessed by boat!

Dont know if thats lovely and peaceful or a bit scary - can be very rough down there!!!

Any guesses who this handsome young man is?

The one in the brown shirt!

It's Mr Steve aged 21! How sexy is he!

Bretts Party

We are partying yet again - it was the landlord of the pub in Conwy's 60th birthday.
Fab night - lovely fish and chips supper in newspaper!
Our friends Jane and Steve came to stay on the Saturday night and we had a Chinese and then off to the pub and back to a friends yacht for a few more drinks!
Last Friday partying again at Susan's new house warming - delicious buffet.
And of course my lovely sister Jo and niece have arrived from Oz. Great to see them - and not forgetting my brother -in- law George.
All back to work now this week so the partying will have to stop!
