Happy Easter

Well Easter has been awful weather wise - soo cold and windy.
Spent a few days on the boat - had a lovely meal on Saturday - we all put in £7 and went to M&S - bought an amazing amount of food - their lamb curry is yummy - followed by the chocolate roularde advertised on the telly. Of course washed down with lots of red wine and brandy !
I bought Steve a game for Christmas - called Us and Them - it is a battle of the sexes so we spilt it to teams - very hilarious - sad to say the boys beat the girls by miles! Great game for a night in with a few beers.
You have to name 10 things - say 10 romantic gifts, 10 reasons why women are better at housework, 10 types of shoes, golfing items, things that go wrong with a car! There were some really funny answers!

Garden Project

Well its coming along - still a mud bath - Steve has had some help off Lee this week - here they are having a well earned rest and warming their toes in front of the bonfire!

Sisters night out

Had a wonderful night out with Susan and Alison in Beluga in Bramhall.

Lovely to catch up - lots of reminiscing about when we were younger!

Its not often we have a night out together - next one Joanne will be here too. Looking forward to it.

ANOTHER PROJECT

Steve has got spring fever - he has decided to revamp the garden as we don't have much time for mowing lawns etc and we have three dogs - he is going to flag it all and build borders/planters around the edge.

The stuff arrived on a wagon and wow was there a lot of it - each bag weighs a ton! Bearing in mind that all this stuff will have to be carried through the house!!!! Think the mop and bucket will be put to full use!

So I have took some photos so you can follow the progress - he reckons it will be finished by end of April!

His arm is already hurting him! Notice the support bandage!

And he broke his spade!
It only takes Garden Force a day to do a make-over!
Where is Alan Titchmarsh when you need him!

Happy Spring

Ellie posing with the lovely roses I got from Steve fromValentine's day. Still being romantic after 25 year!

Well spring is at long last here! We still working on the other house - carpets go in on Friday so we can get it rented out.

Everyone here is fine. Daniel just had a week off work on holiday - so lots of long lie-ins for him - usually he is up at 6am.

Only four weeks til Joanne (my sister from Oz) comes to stay - cant wait to see her and little Bella and of course my brother in law - George.

Not much planned at the moment - off two weeks at easter so will probably get down to the boat - Steve wants to revamp the garden at home - because with dont have much time for mowing lawns etc - we are having it all flagged - much easier to maintain. With three dogs is soon gets muddy.
