Jan's Hen night

Well the Royal Welsh Yacht club didnt know what had hit them when we all arrived having drank lots of champagne in the limo on the way down.

At this point we were fairly sober!!! Then the Karaoke started - why do we think we can singing like Tina Turner when we have had a drink!!!!
Some of the boys joined us - as you can see Steve got into the swing of things!!
They were supposed to dress up as girls and Diane had a fight on her hands to dress them up - apparently Mike was up for it and was all kitted out ready to go!

John thought we were all very silly - but just couldnt resist getting in the limo for a photo!!!

Sara the baby of our group is still recovering - she cant keep up with us old birds!!!!!

It was a fab night - thanks to Jan and Hayley for arranging it.
As Jan would say "good friends are very special"

Only 2 and a half weeks to the big day now! Very exciting.

Breakfast at Pilots cove

As we thought we never made it to Holyhead because of the weather. So we went to Carnaerfon instead. Had a BBQ on the marina and much drinking, which was a mistake because we had to get up and be out of the Marina by 7am on Sunday morning.

But we all made it and by 7.30 am we were sat on the beach frying bacon and sausages - lovely!

We decided to "beach" the boats - another first for me! and as you can see when the tide went out they started leaning over like skittles - bit scary when you are sat on it and everything starts falling over - but all the boats had their bottoms scrubbed.

Dont think Steve would have much chance of stopping it falling over!!!!

Ellie's hair cut

Ellie and Patsy had had their summer clip - think it was a little severe!!!!

Cost £25 each so have to make it last a long time!!!!

Never mind Ell it will grow back!!!!

Fun Day Weekend

Weather been too bad to sail anywhere!!! Boat may turn into an ark!!!

We had a fun day on the Marina on Saturday - I am on the Berth Holders Committee and we raise money for the RNLI and the local hospice.

Good day - shame about the weather but looks like we have raised about £1500.

I got conned into having a snake wrapped round my neck!! Wasnt too big the kids thought I was very brave!

I also looks knackered on the photo - had spent ages running around to set up and dodging the showers.

Off to Holyhead this weekend if the weather holds out - so should have some good photos next week.

I have put in a photo that Eric took of us in the lock at Liverpool. Must go there again fab!

Jenna and Daniel both been to Alton Towers this week

really enjoyed it - queue's not too bad cos of rain.

Are other news is that we have just bought another house in Cheadle - a project !! So Daniel and his mates have been stripping it out - its now bear walls etc not kitchen bathrooms so we can start from scratch. Will take some photos so we can to before and after shots. Will probably rent it out when finished.
